CCTV SYSTEM MONITORING The concept of remote monitoring is
simple. Initially, a system of cameras and alarms is installed on
any site to British Standards. This system is linked to a transmission
system and connects to a CCTV Monitoring Station via a telephone
line (either PSTN/ISDN/GSM connection) or via the Internet through
a Broadband connection (or other secure connection from the company's
network).
When the sensors or cameras are activated
an alarm signal is sent directly to the station, and a picture image
is transmitted to a workstation. Workstations are manned by highly
trained operators who assess the situation and provide the appropriate
response immediately.
Depending upon the client's exact requirements
the operator will use the built in audio transmission capabilities,
remotely activate additional security protection such as lighting/alarms
or alert a third party. As the situation escalates the operator
will contact a guarding company or the emergency services as appropriate.
FIRE ALARM SYSTEM MONITORING
Fire Alarm monitoring property and premises every second of the day
by actively checking that your phone line is working. You can choose
from two products to monitor your fire alarm:
Digital Monitoring - a warning signal will be delivered to the
alarm receiving centre when the fire alarm is activated. Please be aware that if your phone lines are cut then no signal will be sent.
Dual signalling paths - this uses two alarm
signalling paths: the telephone line and a radio network. If one of
these paths is attacked, or fails, the other continues to monitor your
alarm regardless of which one fails first.
Dual signalling paths are ideal for all commercial/business fire alarm systems.
INTRUDER ALARM MONITORING
Monitored intruder alarm systems ensures that your business and home is looked after 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Our intruder alarm systens are individually designed, carefully installed and regulary maintained to ensure that your property is protected night and day, all year round. In accordance with current police policy on sequential screening of activations, everything possible is done to identify genuine intrusion for immediate police response.
SPEECH DIALLER
This is the most basic form of monitoring. If your alarm is activated it will phone several phone or mobile numbers and alert them to the activation of your alarm system.
DIGITAL COMMUNICATOR
A digital communicator is a device that connects your alrm to the phone line and sends alarm messages to the ARC. Please note that if the telephone lines are cut no signals can be sent.
DUALCOM
DualCom GPRS, from CSL DualCom
Limited, is an
intruder alarm signalling device that uses both the
Vodafone network and your telephone and/or IP path to
transmit intruder, fire and personal attack signals at high
speed.
CSL DualCom have pioneered a single hardware platform which
fits every grade of security risk, right the way from Grade 2, 3 and 4
Security installations to the highest specification of Fire signalling
grades. The price of the product has been matched to the grade so that
if you are installing for a Grade 2 specification you are not paying
Grade 4 prices. DualCom’s unique GradeShift® technology means that the
hardware platform remains unchanged so that there is one common product
across all grades. Simply order the G2, G3, G4 or the Fire version
dependent on the grade you require.
Multiple signalling paths, GPRS, telephone and/or IP/TCIP
(Internet, broadband or LAN connectivity)
Fixed tariff means unlimited signals with no hidden charges Dual
signalling is preferred by Insurance companies and Police Meets all
insurance grades (low to high risk) GradeShift® to remotely up/down

REDCARE GSM Redcare GSM is a Grade 4 signalling system and offers the highest
level of protection you can buy. The BT phone line on which your Redcare
GSM operates is monitored constantly and if the line is cut or there is
a fault on the line this is signalled to the Alarm Receiving Centre
(ARC) within just 40 seconds.
Every two minutes Redcare GSM also checks that the alarm on your
property is working, adding another level of security to your alarm
system. In the event of an alarm sensor being triggered in your
property, it takes just a few seconds for the ARC to be alerted. If this
is confirmed by a second zone being triggered, then your ARC can
legitimately contact the emergency services and dispatch them to secure
your property.
Redcare GSM also benefits from being a ‘dual path’ system. The main
BT telephone line on which Redcare GSM operates is the ‘primary path’.
Redcare GSM also provides the reassurance of a back up link, a
‘secondary path’, that uses the mobile phone network to communicate with
the ARC if, for whatever reason, the primary path fails. You therefore
have the additional peace of mind that comes from knowing if intruders
enter your property, a signal will quickly be sent to the ARC, and the
emergency services alerted
